Introduction of Business Ethics Policy

ABC expects and demands that each of its business units, all of its employees, and its Directors carry out their business and perform their duties to the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all relevant legal principles. The behavior and performance of this standard is upheld in the company’s dealings with employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

General Principles:

The company demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, truthfulness, and honesty in order to uphold both personal and corporate reputations and to stimulate confidence and trust in their respective actions. The company conducts its business with competent, fair, neutral, and effective manner to ensure business ethics policy.

Statement of Business Ethics:

ABC is committed to ensuring that its business is conducted in all respects according to ethical, professional and legal standards. This policy sets out the principles and values that company will support and be guided by in the conduct of its business. This policy applies to all employees, and anyone conducting business on behalf of the company.

Furthermore, company expects equivalent standards of conduct from its business partners. The objectives of the business ethics policy are set out below. This is not a complete list, and any action which is unlawful, dishonest or harmful to others,

 

or is otherwise against the company principles and policies will result in disciplinary action.

 In all dealings:

  • It must be complied with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • It engages in honest and ethical conduct, including the ethical treatment of actual or apparent conflicts of interest between personal and professional relationships.
  • The company maintains effective procedures to secure confidential information being misused and the use of trusted information for personal and corporate achievement will not be tolerated.
  • Comply with our policy on Anti-corruption.

 Dealings with shareholders and other investors:

We are committed to maximizing shareholder value over time. We seek to maintain the highest standards in our communications with our buyers. By communicating and listening to our existing and potential buyers, we seek to establish long-term relationships based on mutual understanding and trust. Therefore, company will:

  • Provide timely and truthful financial information in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • We communicate business ethics policy with our employees and stakeholders.

Dealings with customers:

We are devoted to being honest and forthright in our dealings with customers. Personal contact, helpful and responsive actions are key features of the service.

Therefore we will:

  • Provide high standards of service.
  • Respect the privacy of information that we might take and retain in relation to customers.
  • Take all reasonable care to avoid untruths, concealment and overstatement in advertising and other public communications.
  • The effective complaints process to deal with conditions where these standards are confronted.

 Dealings with employees:

We have high standards of employment practice. Therefore we will:

  • Provide a clean, healthy and safe work environment.
  • Provide fair and just remuneration packages.
  • Implement human resource policies to ensure that specific standards and objectives are clearly communicated. 
  • Not tolerate any sexual, physical or mental harassment, or victimization of employees.

 Dealings with suppliers of goods and services:

We are committed to developing relationships with suppliers of goods and services based on mutual trust and shared values. Therefore we will:

  • We maintain high standards of integrity in business dealings with suppliers.
  • Ensure that all employees conduct business with suppliers of goods and services in a professional manner.
  • Inspire all suppliers to work with values and ethics equivalent to ours.

 Dealings with competitors:

Company is committed to opposing energetically and in a legal manner. In doing so, we will:

  • To avoid revealing proprietary or private information in any contact with competitors.
  • Not attempt to obtain information concerning a competitors’ business by illegal means, including industrial espionage, hiring competitors’ employees to gain confidential information. And urging competitors’ employees to unveil confidential information, or other tactic that is not above board.

 Dealings with Government, legislators and regulators:

 

We open relationships with Government and regulators to stand-in mutual trust, respect and understanding. Therefore we will:

  • Not knowingly evade tax obligations.
  • Comply with recognized good corporate governance standards.

 

 Dealings with community and Non-Governmental Organizations:

On all our developments, we aim to build strong, balanced, long-lasting and vibrant communities as we understand the interdependency between the success of our business and the well-being of the communities in which we operate. Therefore we will:

  • To make a positive long-term involvement to the superiority of life of the community and take into account the concerns of the wider community, with both national and local interests.
  • Actively engage with local communities to ensure we understand their needs and aspirations.

1.    Compliance with this Policy:

Company aims to maintain high ethical standards when carrying out its business activities. Practices of any sort that are incompatible with the Group’s principles and policies will not be tolerated. Strict adherence to these principles and supporting policies are a condition of employment with the company and its Divisions.

Ultimate responsibility for compliance with this policy rests with the company Board. They will confirm that it is communicated to and understood by all employees whilst day-to-day accountability for its implementation is vicarious to senior management.

Failure to comply with this policy may lead to disciplinary actions and, where breaches of the law take place, may lead to criminal proceedings against the individual or individuals involved.
